Less than a week after the death of Jamie Sangouthai, Lamar Odom has lost another close friend, producer Bobby Heyward, who died on Saturday of a reported drug overdose. According to US Weekly, Heyward’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, however they have not yet revealed the cause.

Lamar and Khloe are mourning the death of their friend Bobby Heyward.

Heyward’s passing comes just days after the death of Jamie Sangouthai on June 14th. Sangouthai was a high school friend of Odom’s who passed away due to a flesh eating disease caused by using dirty needles, according to a report by the L.A. County Coroner.

Lamar Odom, the ex-husband of reality star Khloe Kardashian, suffered an emotional blow earlier this week when his close friend Jamie Sangouthai passed away. Khloe Kardashian has made headlines this week with her angry Twitter feud with Amber Rose. The 30-year-old lashed out at the singer and model after Rose criticised her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, whilst on a radio talk show. It's the end of an era as the pair have sold their marital home at last

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are collectively $1.5 million richer after finally selling the home the two shared prior to their divorce last year. The house has been on the market since the end of December and according to reports, the California mansion was snapped up by another famous couple.

The sale of the house was first reported by TMZ, who stated that the 7-bedroom home sold for $5.49 million, more that $1.5 mil. than what they bought it for and a just under $1.5 mil. of the asking price. The 8,000 sq. ft. Tarzana home was bought by the couple back in 2009 for $3.95 mil. and was lived in by the once married couple until their relationship began to crumble last year, owing largely to Lamar's well documented downward spiral into drugs.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have sold their house for a huge profit, according to reports by a US entertainment website.

Khloe and Lamar listed their 7-bedroomed home in Tarzana, Los Angeles, last year and the 8000 ft property has finally sold. In such an exclusive area, the purchaser couldn't be a mere mortal but is none other than The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco! Cuoco has, according to TMZ's sources, bought the house with her new husband, tennis player Ryan Sweeting. 

Khloe and Lamar are making a huge profit on the house as they bought the San Fernando Valley property in 2009 for a reported $3.95 million and have sold the property for $5.49 million. The home was put on the market for $4 million so, in case anyone's arithmetic has lapsed since high school, that's nearly $1.5 million above than the asking price. The couple, who filed for divorce earlier this month, will probably be hashing out their finances. So who will benefit by this profit entirely depends on their lawyers' abilities.

Kim Kardashian, in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live (23rd January), discussed her sister Khloe's fertility issues. Kardashian explained how, owing to the state of her marriage to now ex-husband Lamar Odom, Khloe felt it was not the right time to have a child.

Kardashian, who appeared on the show wearing a pink Dior dress, cut to show a sliver of stomach, stated "For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe, thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant and everyone around her was." However, despite the family encouraging Khloe to see fertility specialists, the 33-year-old was unwilling to become pregnant, a factor Kardashian attributes to her sister's belief that timing was not right. She described how Khloe "was not showing up to these doctors' appointments behind our back on purpose and doing everything on purpose," deliberately not to get pregnant. Kardashian added, by way of explanation, "She knew that it wasn't right. She knew that she wasn't ready."

The Kardashian sister has filed for divorce from her husband, TMZ reports. The divorce papers were filed today, December 13, with Khloe citing irreconcilable differences. It looks like the divorce will be pretty straight-forward, since the couple have a solid prenup and no children together.

Khloe has finally made the tough decision to file for divorce.

The divorce rumors have been circling ever since Odom's cocaine addiction made headlines earlier this year, but the youngest Kardashian sister made multiple pledges to stick by her troubled husband.

Lamar Odom is beginning to piece his life back together after settling a DUI charge on Monday (Dec 9th).

The NBA player struck a deal in a "no contest" plea for the driving offence and in exchange he will be on probation on the next three years, reports TMZ.

Odom has also been ordered to be a fine of $1,814 and will have to complete an alcohol education program by June 9th (2013).

Lamar Odom is in Rhode Island at the moment, supposedly working hard to regain his fitness and hopefully relaunch his career in the NBA. He may be working hard, but recent reports have suggested that he is playing just as hard, and a leaked video featuring a shirtless, rapping Lamar has raised a number of questions about his actual condition.

Since the video emerged, it was believed that Lamar has relapsed and was taking drugs again, however the troubled star has since insisted that is still sober from drugs, insisting he was only drunk when the video was taken.

Lamar Odom may only have his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and his attempts to win her back on his mind right now, but before he can begin to think about a trouble free reunion he has the little matter of his current court case to worry about. On Wednesday, 9 October he stood trail for the first time to plead his DUI case, pleading not guilty to the charges.

Lamar was pulled by cops for driving too slow in a "serpentine manner" in August and was told to take a drug and alcohol test, which he refused to do. His arraignment was originally due to take place today (10 Oct.), but his high-powered lawyer was able to avoid a media circus by bringing the hearing back a day. The reports from the re-arranged court hearing come courtesy of the New York Daily News.

“Hopefully it will be resolved quickly. (Both sides) are talking,” a source from within the case told the NY Daily. The source also revealed that Lamar pleaded not guilty to the charges held against him and added that his team seemed confident in securing a plea bargain for the first-time offender.

Lamar Odom may or may not have given up taking crack by now, to be honest we're not sure where his ongoing drug problems still stands, but one thing that does look to be happening in his life is that he may have developed another vice. This time though, his fix is much cheaper, as his Twitter page seems to indicate that he's developed a taste for online pornography. At least it's much cheaper than crack.

Lamar must have been getting lonely

According to TMZ, and as seen on his rarely-used Twitter page, Lamar has upped his Twitter following list from 50 to 51, with his newest addition being the porn streaming site Tube8. The much talked-about former LA Lakers star is very particular when he picks who he follows on the micro-blogging site, but only following a handful of NBA stars, the Kardashian clan and individuals such as Floyd Mayweather and Justin Bieber. His induction of the porn site into his Twitter rooster maybe indicates that, with Khloe being so far away from him for so long, a guy can get pretty lonely sometimes. Word of advice for the future though Lamar, don't go shouting about which porno sites you visit on your Twitter page.

There's no more second chances for Lamar Odom after wife Khloe Kardashian allegedly discovered a stash of drugs at their California home when he came over for one last all-out talk.

The basketball star was spotted making his way over to where he used to live with his wife in Tarzana earlier this week, but it looks like things ended badly with TMZ reporting that sources claimed she found what looked like a crack pipe and a stash of drugs as he went about the house collecting his clothes. He had apparently told her that he'd remained sober for 3 days, and still refuses to go to rehab - TMZ reported yesterday (October 3rd 2013) that he insisted he could get through his addiction alone through a process of 'self healing'

'I'm done with you!' Sources reveal Khloe shouted at her husband on discovering the pipe and called him a 'liar'; he even seemed not entirely sober on their meeting and supposedly accused her of stealing the drugs from him. The Odoms' marriage has been a slippery slope for the past few months in light of several women coming forward to confess that he'd been sleeping around and as well as his repeated refusal to get help for his addictions.

The latest episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' showed Kim Kardashian eventually persuaded to have a baby shower, but it wasn't without its tensions.

Kim was certainly not up for an attention-grabbing party with the media constantly scrutinising every move she made during the final weeks of her pregnancy with her first son, North. However, it wasn't long before mother Kris Jenner and sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian managed to change her mind and the girls threw a garden baby shower with plenty of famous friends and baby gifts. Unfortunately, Khloe's husband Lamar Odom and Kourtney's partner Scott Disick messed things up by arriving earlier than they were asked to, ahead of baby-daddy Kanye West. Things weren't entirely spoiled though, and Kim certainly has a beautiful party to remember - but that night's episode certainly showed the cracks in Khloe and Lamar's marriage.

Kim and Kanye are clearly as tight as ever though, with the pair holding hands and hugging on their arrival at the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week yesterday (September 29th 2013) - a much needed weekend together as Kanye faces charges for assaulting a photographer and breaking his camera and Kim is reportedly worried that he may be sent to prison for the offense.

According to a report from TMZ, Laamar has been in good relations with his pusher man, who has been readily supplying the troubled NBA star with a steady stream of crack cocaine over the summer. However, last week; when Lamar was at his lowest ebb, the out of contract basketballer was so insatiable in his crack habit that the dealer got overly concerned and decided to cut Lamar off.

Sources speaking to TMZ and THR have confirmed Khloe Kardashian's husband has not checked into rehab for his alleged substance abuse problem. Other sources, speaking to People magazine on Wednesday, claimed the NBA player had checked himself into the rehab centre. One source claimed "he realised he needed help."

It seemed as though the constant pleas to Lamar Odom to enter rehab and control his recreational drug use seemed to be falling on deaf ears, but it now looks as though the NBA star and Mr Khloe Kardashian is getting his life back on track. Recently, he was arrested for a DUI offence on 30 August, an incident that may have triggered his entry into rehab.

Lamar Odom's arrest for DUI has coincided with press coverage of their, alleged, marital difficulties and Odom's apparent substance abuse problem. Kardashian implied she is remaining strong despite the overwhelming media coverage of her relationship difficulties and her husband's legal problems.

One of the last times the couple were photographed together in June, leaving Kim Kardashian's baby shower.

Kardashian tweeted yesterday, Sunday 1st September, writing "As much as I wish I were made of steel. I'm not." Later posting another comment, attempting to make light of her previous text, the 29-year-old reality star added "I'm pretty damn close to it though".

Free-agent forward Lamar Odom has begun his battle against an unspecified drug problem in a Los Angeles hotel room, with family and friends, according to ESPN.

A TMZ.com report on Sunday (August 25, 2013) suggested that Odom - who's married to the reality star Khloe Kardashian - had been missing for 72 hours, though this was disputed shortly afterwards. His agent Jeff Schwartz would not reveal the basketball star's whereabouts, although he told ESPN's Marc Stein that his client and friend was safe, saying, "Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is."

TMZ's reports have focused squarely on Odom's alleged extensive drug use, though Khloe Kardashian reacted angrily to the on-going speculation, tweeting, "Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk s--- about my family."

Khloe Kardashian's family seems to be rallying round Lamar Odom after reports alleged he was struggling with a drug addiction. Sources close to the family have claimed that whilst some of the members are shocked, they are focussing on Odom's recovery and just want the best for their relatives.

Kim Kardashian was shocked to hear her brother-in-law Odom has been struggling with a substance abuse problem for the last couple of years. According to a source, speaking to E!, Kim is fully supportive of her sister, Khloe Kardashian Odom and her marriage to Lamar, saying she "would like to see them work it out" but that "she only wants what's best for Khloe." A source also claimed the entire family "is focused on getting Lamar better."

Lamar Odom's downward spiral appears to date back further than first assumed, with TMZ.com reporting that the basketball ace was "deep into drugs" while he was playing for the Dallas Mavericks and there is evidence he was doing the same while playing for the Lakers.

Sources connected to the Westin hotel in Memphis tell the entertainment website that when Lamar stayed in one of the guest rooms while playing for the Mavericks, he left "major carpet damage" including "quarter-sized burn marks." The damage was said to be so bad that the hotel redecorated the room. 

Sources say hotel employees also found "white powder" on the desk blotter and the room smelt of noxious smoke. Insiders say "it was obvious there was serious drug use going on in the hotel room."
