Comedian Larry David is set to mingle with high society later this year (13) when he escorts his teenage daughter to a prestigious debutante ball in France.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm star, who is famed for being socially awkward, will accompany his 17-year-old kid Romy to the Le Bal des Debutantes at Paris' Hotel Crillon on 30 November (13), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

David won't be the first celebrity dad to attend the annual event - Bruce Willis has previously taken his daughter Tallulah to the big bash to celebrate her induction into adult society.
