Fact: British singer Laura Mvula has landed a new role as an ambassador for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. The star has signed up to help raise awareness about HIV prevention among youths and educate them about sexual and reproductive health. "Becoming an ambassador for MTV Staying Alive is a great honour for me," she says in a statement. "It's so important that we work harder than ever to increase awareness about HIV among young people. We need to work together to ensure that we our future generations are empowered, particularly young people, so they can protect themselves against HIV."
