Lauren Conrad will make her New York Fashion Week debut next month.

The 29-year-old star will showcase 35 looks from her limited edition LC Lauren Conrad Runway Collection on September 9, prior to the official beginning of New York Fashion Week the following day.

Confirming the news on Instagram, she wrote: ''I am so excited to announce that I'll be debuting a new @LCLaurenConrad collection at #NYFW on September 9! We have been hard at work for months and I am so excited to finally be able to tell everyone!#LCRunway (sic).''

The vintage-inspired collection is themed around enchanted forests and modern day fairytales, with the latest additions including evening wear and handbags, to go alongside her dresses, blouses and shorts.

The full collection will be available online and in Kohl's stores in the US from September.

Although 'The Hills' star is looking forward to debuting the collection on the runway, she insisted her job is tough and she has put in ''a lot of hard work'' to make her dreams come true.

Writing on her website, she said: ''Working in fashion is not always as glamorous as it seems. Just like any other highly competitive industry, you put in long hours and a lot of hard work to get where you want to be. It's easy to confuse loving fashion with wanting to work in fashion.

''You have to really love the whole fashion industry to want to make it your career.''
