Lea Michele ''couldn't be happier''.

The 'Glee' star tragically lost her boyfriend Cory Monteith in 2013 when he was just 31-years-old but insists she is feeling ''so happy and so strong'' now.

She told FOX411: ''I couldn't be happier in my life right now. I think I've done a really good job where I try to keep my life as private as possible.

''I definitely feel, personally, in my life right now so happy and so strong. I think it's important to have your home life be as grounded so that you can just go to your job and do your absolute best.''

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old star previously insisted she feels incredibly lucky to have such ''supportive'' friends.

She said: ''I feel like I've been really lucky to have found such a great group of girlfriends. I feel like competition and negativity grow hate -- it's such a common thing that you see -- and I'm so grateful to have such a strong, supportive group of girls around me.''

Of close pal Kate Hudson, she added: ''She lives her life every single day with such happiness and more than anything she's so confident in her skin, and I really do believe that she enjoys every day on this planet.''
