Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham has some tips for losing weight; just remember that Donald Trump is president and the pounds will just fall straight off! At least, that's what has worked for the actress, who has struggled to eat through her misery over his victory.

It's not like the fact that she has got visibily slimmer over the last couple of months is much comfort to the 'Girls' star, though, as she has always been vocally confident about her shape. She was interviewed by Howard Stern on the SiriusXM radio show yesterday (February 6th 2017) when she opened up about the situation.

Amy Schumer Won't Let Her Haters Get Her Down

Amy Schumer Lena Dunham

Amy Schumer has been so high-profile in 2015 that she has perhaps sometimes risked overexposure, but the star herself says that the backlash actually began a long time ago, revealing that she’s been receiving death threats ever since the start of her career.

“I've already gotten a lot of death threats for about eight years… the backlash has already started,” the stand-up comic and Trainwreck actor said last night at the Elle Women in Hollywood gala. “I've been getting backlash since 2006. I've been getting death threats.”

“I know everybody is sick of me and I need to be treated for overexposure,” she said jokingly, but added defiantly “I'm not going to stop. Gloria Steinem said to me that the most important thing is don't burn out. She said we want change so quickly that it could feel discouraging.”

Lena Dunham Reveals A Love / Hate Relationship With The Internet

Lena Dunham

‘Girls’ creator and actor Lena Dunham has spoken out about the effect that negative comments written on the internet about her have had on her personal life, saying that the online world has been the source of “every piece of true pain” she has experienced.

29 year old Dunham announced earlier this month that she had quit Twitter, using somebody to post on her behalf, because it had ceased to become a “safe space” for her. Now, in an interview to go along with her topless photoshoot for the new edition of Harper’s Bazaar, she reveals that she has a love/hate relationship with the internet itself, and has been greatly affected by things she has read about her on various sites.

Lena Dunham Reveals She's Stopped Using Twitter

Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham has announced that she no longer uses Twitter and now has somebody else posting updates on her behalf, citing a recent barrage of what she describes as “verbal abuse”.

The ‘Girls’ creator, who also recently suggested that the hit HBO show would end after a sixth season, was speaking to Kara Swisher on the ‘Re/code Decode’ radio podcast. She said earlier this year that she no longer had Twitter on her phone, but that she still composed tweets and sent them to a friend who was posting in her place, saying “we gotta create systems that make us feel safe”.

However, she’s now elaborated on the relationship she has with the social media site. “I don’t look at Twitter anymore. I have a really great person [who tweets for me]. I tweet, but I do it through someone else,” Dunham said. “I don’t even know my Twitter password. Which may make me seem like I’m no longer a community user, and that would be true.”

Lena Dunham Justin Bieber

Lena Dunham has slammed Justin Bieber’s brand new song ‘What Do You Mean?’, suggesting that the ambiguous lyrics in the track’s chorus are inadvertently promoting rape culture.

Lena Dunham, everybody. The Girls creator guested on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Friday night and it served as the perfect occasion to bring back... wait for it... LIP SYNC BATTLE. Oh yeah! The two battled against each other over eight minutes, with Fallon trying his lips at Charlene’s “I’ve Never Been to Me” and RUN-DMC’s “Run’s House” and Dunham taking on Calvin Harris’ “Outside” (feat. Sarah Palin has attacked the Girls creator Lena Dunham, dubbing her a "paedophile" for comments she made in her memoir Not That Kind of Girl. Dunham had written that as a 7-year-old girl she gave candy to her 1-year-old sister in exchange for a look at her vagina.

Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar was not a combination we ever thought we'd see, but with their collaboration on 'Bad Blood' - alongside a host of other celebrities in the hotly anticipated video - seems this pop starlet is ever expanding her much-loved sound.

There might be a whole action movie vibe to the video, which opened at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards yesterday (May 17th 2015), but there's not much to it in terms of plot. It opens with Catastrophe (Taylor Swift) and Arsyn (Selena Gomez) seemingly working together to defeat a horde of masked assassins, before Arsyn - with her eyes on the prize - takes out Catastrophe too. Then she finds herself at Welvin Da Great's (Kendrick Lamar) headquarters being - for want of a better word - 'repaired' by The Trinity (Hailee Steinfeld x3) before rallying her army of scantily clad beauties to go against her newfound enemy.
