Formula One star Lewis Hamilton has been slammed by animal rights group PETA for apparently teasing a tiger and a jaguar during a visit to Mexico.

The 31 year old Mercedes driver and current world champion visited the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation in Mexico on Monday (August 8th), and some of the photos he posted via Snapchat and Instagram drew a number of critical comments from animal lovers, including PETA.

In most of the snaps, Hamilton is petting and generally staying his distance from the captive animals, but in a handful of others he’s seen playfully rough-housing with the big cats.

Nicole Scherzinger has taken to Twitter to deny that she had a ‘boozy’ fling with nightclub owner Joe Fournier, following her split from Lewis Hamilton. Fournier reportedly told The Sun that he had enjoyed a fling with the former Pussycat Doll last year when she holidayed on the Greek island of Mykonos, but Nicole has labelled the story ‘complete fiction’.

Nicole Scherzinger has slammed a nightclub owner for a tabloid kiss and tell story.

On Twitter Nicole wrote: 'It angers me that people create complete fiction in an attempt to secure a little attention, with zero respect or integrity.’ A spokesperson for the singer later told MailOnline: ‘This is a fictitious story created by someone with a vivid imagination. Nicole is appalled by these ridiculous lies.’

'TFI Friday’s' 20th anniversary special proved a smash hit for Channel 4 yesterday evening (June 12th) pulling in a massive 4.3 million viewers. Host Chris Evans returned for the one-off special episode, with guests including Jeremy Clarkson, Blur and Lewis Hamilton.

Chris Evans returned as the host for the show’s 20th anniversary special.

The show was on such a roll that Channel 4 even gave it an extra 15 minutes after it ran over its allocated time slot. Chris Evans certainly seemed to enjoy his time hosting the show again, tweeting, "Did that really happen last night ? My wife has the MOTHER of all hangovers - hilarious,” on Saturday morning.

American pop star Nicole Scherzinger and her long-term boyfriend Lewis Hamilton have split for good, reports suggest.

Sources close to the now-broken coupling confirmed the split to Us Weekly, and indicated that the split was down to British Formula One driver Hamilton’s refusal to marry the former Pussycat Dolls singer, who is six years his senior.

Nicole Scherzinger may be getting back together with her ex-boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, as the Brit-driving star apparently visited her Los Angeles home this weekend for peace talks. The Pussycat Dolls' lead inspiration and the Formula 1 champion ended their on-and-off five year relationship seemingly for good last month, but now it seems that the pair are ready to give it another go as they attempt to make their hectic schedules work for each other.

According to a report from the Sunday People, Hamilton had spoken to Scherzinger about flying over to the USA to meet up at her Beverley Hills pad in a bid to get their relationship back on track, a prospect that Nicole was also keen to be involved in. The couple apparently spent a few days together in LA to discuss were they go next in their relationship, and it seems as though they might be back together again. Lewis hectic, country-hopping job as a Formula One driver had made their relationship particularly difficult, with Nicole's own busy schedule not helping things, however it looks as though they have decided to try out the long-distance relationship again.

Nicole Scherzinger's split from Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton has left the former Pussycat Dolls singer "heartbroken" and "completely devastated," though it seems the decision to end their five year relationship was mutual. The couple are believed to have gone their separate ways after it became apparent their busy working schedules left little time for each other.

A source told Mail Online: "Nicole is just so heartbroken and completely devastated." The news comes just weeks after Hamilton hinted that he was planning to propose to Nicole, 34, "We've been together for five years, which is quite a milestone really. But hopefully in the near future. Maybe before we get to six years," he said.

It appears as though Lewis Hamilton is pursuing a career in music to add to his impressive achievements as a Formula One driver. Whether his musical talents will match his on the track, though, is yet to be seen. 

"He's working on some music and I'm working on my music. We can harmonise as one," confirmed Nicol Scherzinger - girlfriend of Hamilton and X-Factor judge seems very proud of her beau for entering into a different field. Her field. She's become somewhat famous for her wacky outbursts as well her pop exploits in recent years. The 34-year-old declared: "I'm a nutcase is what I am.  And then shamazing was born.  And it's in the dictionary.  We've got to get it in the dictionary.  And then we took it up a level and gave them "shamazeballs"."

In a further mishmash of, well, something, she told Capital FM's Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon: "Last night I was disappointed when he didn't win at the National Television Awards but I was quite amused when I walked up to the stand to present and I swear to you, I looked at Dermot and the mics, they were two balls put together and I was like are you guys punking me right now?  I was like 'there he goes, speaking between the balls.  Do what you do best Derm, do what you do best.'"

Lewis Hamilton is best known for being the youngest ever Formula 1 World Champion, which he won back in 2008 aged just 23, but his girlfriend, ex-Pussycat Doll and X Factor presenter, Nicole Scherzinger has revealed to Capital FM that he is also recording some of his own music. 

"He loves music. He's always loved music since he was young and he plays the guitar so he's been recording some tracks, doing his thing for fun," Nicole told Capital FM. Apparently, "It sounds amazing." While we'd love that to be true, theres' a nagging feeling that Nicole may just be playing the supportive girlfriend role. Although, she didn't mention whether it's music that he's likely to release to the public or whether it's just a hobby. "Everybody's free to do music or something, a hobby or what they love, so I do nothing but support him. You can't listen to the haters out there," she says. "I mean, if he wants to record some songs and be creative then there's nothing wrong with that." Sounds like just a hobby, shame. 

Nicole added. "Me getting in a car trying to drive really fast, now that's scary!" It seems she'll be sticking to music, but at the moment it's unclear as to whether she'll be sticking to the X Factor. She beat all the other judges by having two of her artists reach the final, and one of them win - James Arthur. She's said she'd like to go out on a high. While we may never hear any of Lewis' music, Nicole has a new single out at the moment called 'Boomerang'.

As tall as he draws his posture, there's no way Tom Cruise is anywhere near the height of six foot two that the eponymous character he plays in Jack Reacher is in the original book written by Lee Child. Yet it's Cruise who was given the role for the forthcoming film adaptation and, to be fair to him, he took it with the blessing of Child. Both were in attendance for the film's premiere in London last night (December 10) alongside the rest of the cast including Rosamund Pike and Robert Duvall, whilst director Christopher McQuarrie also put an appearance in.

On Saturday's show, Nicole Scherzinger seemed distinctly less upbeat than normal, she spoke through tears after District 3's performance of Eric Clapton's 'Tears in Heaven', saying that the song had particular significance for her on that day. The resonance and importance of her tears we've only learned today, as it has now been reported that Nicole lost her grandmother on Saturday morning.

The Mirror reported yesterday that the pair were jetting off for a romantic break, having not been able to spend much time together recently, however, in light of today's revelation it has become apparent that she is in fact returning home for far less joyful purposes. It is thought that her commitments to the X Factor will bring her back either tomorrow (Nov 14th 2012) or Thursday which may mean she'll miss her grandmother's funeral. Boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton who went with her over the the US, will probably stay state-side as he has an F1 race in Texas on Saturday. 

While the Mirror questions whether Scherzinger will miss the X Factor for her grandmother's funeral, our concern is far more for the family. Although the X Factor judge obviously has commitments to her three contestants still left in the competition, Jahmene, James Arthur and Rylan Clark, it will be more than understandable if she can't make it back. However, despite the difficulties and hardships that are inevitable in the kind of relationship they have, Scherzinger believes that she and Hamilton have a strong relationship based on trust. This was really put to the test recently when photos of the X-Factor judge getting a little too close for comfort to Rihanna's ex, Chris Brown. She confounded the rumours, "You are always going to have people saying something or having a picture." She said, "But it is complete dross if you and your partner know what the truth is. Chris Brown and I are definitely just mates - I have known him since he was younger than 16." And in the Metro she is reported talking about press in general; 'It's a part of it, you know, and you just got to pay no time to it. The press does not define you, you know who you are deep inside."

Using words such as 'mate' she seems to have forgotten who she is deep down inside, opting for British terminology rather than American. However this is probably all due to Hamilton's family who have embraced her wholly and integrated her into London life. As reported, "Lewis has helped her settle in London by introducing her to his pals, adding that his family has also been a huge help."

Nicole Scherzinger has finally put straight rumors that she is dating Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, describing a photograph of the pair getting close as being completely innocent. Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Nicole claimed her cosiness with Brown, 23, at a Los Angeles nightclub was not what it seemed.

"You are always going to have people saying something or having a picture. But it is complete dross if you and your partner know what the truth is." Of course, Scherzinger is still in a relationship with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, which basically made the photograph a huge deal last month. The former Pussycat Doll star added, "Chris Brown and I are definitely just mates - I have known him since he was younger than 16. We were just talking. Even my mum said, 'I saw a picture of you'. It's the same when Lewis had some random girls sitting in the lobby." Hmm wasn't it a little more than that Nicole? In July, Hamilton caused a stir after reportedly inviting women back to his London hotel following a night out with rapper J Cole. However, Nicole, 34, insists "Can't girls just be sitting in the lobby? Maybe they were going to the same party."

The superstar couple maintain a long-distance relationship, spending most of their time together at Hamilton's pad in Monaco or at her Los Angeles home. "I wouldn't wish a long-distance relationship on anyone, Lewis would say the same. But if it's worth it, you fight for it. We try to see each other as much as possible," she added.

Nicole Scherzinger’s eating disorder hit the headlines recently, and now the singer has come out to tell the world how her boyfriend, the F1 driver Lewis Hamilton helped her through the difficult time, The Metro reports.

“[Hamilton] gave me the courage to kind of end that disorder and that disease,” she explained. “He made me feel beautiful for who I am and not what pant size I’m wearing and that helped a lot. A little light came on in the back of my head and that’s when I started to try and turn this around. I said, "Wow, I’ve got to learn how to accept myself and my body." I started to embrace myself as a woman and my curves.” Despite being pictured getting close to Chris Brown at a club recently, Scherzinger was quick to explain that it was due to the music, and not any feelings of affection. And anyway, she’s happy with her current man. “We are both passionate. Together we’ve created a great bond,” she asserted.

Speaking to VH1, Scherzinger opened up about her disorder: "I hated myself... I never felt so alone in my life," she said "I guess it was like my addiction, right? I never did drugs, but kinda doing things to myself was my addiction. It's like when I got offstage, I was on this high, and I'd come back to my room and I'd be alone, so I would just do things. My bulimia was my addiction. Hurting myself was my addiction."
