In a small Lebanese village, a peaceful cohabitation exists between the Christian and Muslim population. A civil conflict is slowly taking over the country, leaving the women of the village trying hard to keep the men in the dark.
It proves difficult, though, as small fights begin to break out in the streets. When one man is murdered, the women get together after the funeral and plot various ways to try and take the men's minds off the trouble.
Their first attempt is to bring in some sexy Russian girls to distract the men but the women are shocked by how skinny the girls are, as well as their skimpy dress. This attempt is a success for a while but the men soon grow tired and fights begin breaking out once again. Meanwhile, the way in and out of the village is blocked by landmines that will detonate on impact.
The women think of other ways to keep the men from fighting, such as taking away their weapons and taking control of a meeting in order to serve the men drugged pastries. Will they ever succeed in stopping the violence breaking out in the village?
