The ludicrous Jezebel article was dismissed by Neeson's reps as "stupid".
Liam Neeson’s revelation a few weeks ago that he’s been dating an “incredibly famous” mystery woman has had the internet blazing with speculation, including one piece which claimed that it might be Twilight actress Kristen Stewart.
However, the North Irish actor’s representatives have moved to dismiss that rumour, telling Gossip Cop on Thursday (February 11th) that even though the original Jezebel article admitted that it was based on “almost nothing” except that they were in the same New York restaurant one night, it was indeed “meaningless speculation”.
Liam Neeson is NOT dating Kristen Stewart
Given that Stewart’s last known romantic fling was with a woman, Alicia Cargile, from whom she is now believed to have separated, and that there’s a 38 year age gap between her and Neeson, perhaps we should file it away with other ridiculous rumours that couldn’t possibly have been true.

Neeson, who tragically lost his wife Natasha Richardson in a skiing accident seven years ago, recently revealed that he’d found love again. Ever since, the likes of Halle Berry, Diane Lane, Charlize Theron and Susan Sarandon have been cited as possibilities, with the flame-haired 68 year old cropping up as the bookies’ favourite.
“Yes, but I’d embarrass her if I said her name, she’s incredibly famous,” he told the Irish Independent back in January about whether there was a special lady in his life. “I'll have to do my best for her. It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find.”
Around 2012, Neeson was in a brief relationship with British publicist Freya Johnston, but that came to an end because he wasn’t yet ready for a full commitment. “Freya wanted something more serious, but Liam feels it is too soon,” a source told the Daily Mail at the time. “His wife [had] only died three years ago, he wants to take things slow.”
