While out promoting his latest action romp 'Run All Night', Liam Neeson has admitted that there's a limit to how much longer he can play these kinds of roles.

"Career-wise, I'm in a very great place," he admitted. "With the success of certainly the 'Taken' films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-oriented scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit, of course ... maybe two more years if God spares me and I'm healthy. But after that I'll stop, I think."

Neeson's career took a late turn into action with 2008's surprise hit 'Taken', which was followed by 'Taken 2' in 2012 and 'Taken 3' last year. Other action movies over these years have included 'The Next Three Days' (2010), 'The Grey' and 'Unknown' (both 2011), 'Non-Stop' and 'A Walk Among the Tombstones' (both 2014). Through all of these movies, Neeson has seemed bemused by his second career as a gun-toting he-man.

Neeson's 'Run All Night' co-star, Joel Kinnaman, who plays his son in the movie, says that there's an obvious reason why he's so convincing in these roles. "He's an old boxer, so he's physically capable. When he knocks somebody out in the movie, you believe it," Kinnaman said. "Liam, as well as ['Run All Night' co-stars] Ed Harris and Nick Nolte - they are people I've looked up to and revered their work. I think it's kind of cool to see all these old farts kicking ass!"
