Liam Payne allegedly had a ''complete meltdown'' before One Direction cancelled their concert in Belfast.
The 22-year-old singer reportedly suffered panic attack-like symptoms causing the boy band to axe the gig at the last minute on Tuesday night (20.10.15).
A source told the UK's The Sun newspaper: ''The pressures of fame and being on the road for two years have made Liam ill.
''He was devastated about letting everyone down, especially the fans, but he wasn't physically able to get on stage.
''He had a complete meltdown.''
The 'Drag Me Down' hitmakers left fans devastated when they suddenly announced they wouldn't be performing as Liam had been ''taken ill.''
The heartthrob later assured everyone he was ''feeling much better'' and the group have since rescheduled the date for tomorrow night (23.10.15).
But the insider added: ''Liam's stress has been brewing for quite a while and it hasn't helped that his future is uncertain with the break coming up.
''But the guys have rallied around Liam and are desperate to make sure he is OK.''
Liam agreed to go on stage last night and the group have just six more dates to perform as part of their 'On The Road Again Tour' before taking an extended hiatus.
