Hip-hop Star Lil Wayne Has Warned Fans In Virginia Not To Be Fooled By A Fake Advertisement For Auditions To Become His Opening Act.
The Lollipop rapper has no upcoming concerts scheduled in the state, but aspiring musicians appear to have been targetted by fraudsters who are holding an open call in Virginia Beach on 15 November (15).
Wayne recently learned of the event, and has taken to his Facebook page to distance himself from the scam.
Alongside a photo of the audition poster, he writes, "Fraud Alert: This is not real. Do not pay this promoter to try out for an opening act."
