Lindsay Lohan could sue the makers of Grand Theft Auto V.
Lindsay Lohan is back in the news, although this time it appears it may be her choice. The actress is reportedly planning to sue the makers of Grand Theft Auto V. TMZ is reporting that Lohan is not happy with the game for using her likeness.

Although they don't use her name directly, the gossip site guesses at three different places she may have been seen in GTA V, including "a mission where a Lindsay Lohan look-alike asks the player to take her home and escape the paparazzi" and "at a hotel resembling the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood - a place Lindsay not only frequents but once lived."
The third situation includes the video game cover, which "shows a woman holding a cellphone who looks Lindsay-ish," explained TMZ. "There's been debate over whether it looks more like Kate Upton or Shelby Welinder."
If you are wondering how Kate Upton can be confused with Lindsay Lohan, you aren't alone. The cover features a blond woman with a cell phone, probably the only two things Upton and Lohan have in common.
As is the norm with TMZ, there were no sources cited, and Lohan hasn't commented. But the situations the character in the game is put in wouldn't make anyone look good, and Lohan seems (at least sort of) intent on fixing her broken reputation.

If the actress does go forward with a lawsuit, the game makers should have no problem paying. According to Forbes, Grand Theft Auto V quickly became the fastest-selling video game of all time, making $1 billion after only three days on the market.
