Lindsay Lohan sat down with Oprah in an attempt to clear her name.
Lindsay Lohan – Hollywood’s most infamous fallen starlet – and Oprah Winfrey – Hollywood’s most infamous fixer-upper – sat down for a heart-to-heart recently and the blogs are all atwitter about it. The interview will air on Oprah’s Next Chapter this Sunday (August 18) and the preview that’s just been released makes it seem like Lohan is about to reveal some extremely personal details.
Watch a preview for the interview below.
In a preview from Us Weekly, set to some truly terrible tension music, Oprah is seen asking LiLo a series of questions, which, although fairly obvious, few tabloids have thought to ask of the former child star. "Do you think you can turn it around," Oprah asks dramatically, before the clip cuts to “What is it that you’re addicted to?” Then Lohan, with the same face of remorse we’ve seen a few times over the past six months, makes the thoughtful remark: “I’m my own worst enemy.”
Is Lindsay Lohan's upcoming film The Canyons a carefully calculated step towards a comeback?
Considering that Lohan’s biggest part of late has been a cameo in Scary Movie 5, it does seem a lot like a ploy to restart Lohan’s acting career. Yet those of us, who still cling to the actress’ Mean Girls would love to see her clean and acting in interesting, challenging roles. Plus, Hollywood has always loved a redemption story.
This interview might finally help LiLo move on from Scary Movie, onto higher profile acting gigs.
