Lindsay Lohan has reconnected with her sober group of friends.

The 28-year-old actress, who reportedly ''cut ties'' with her ''sobriety circle'' after moving to London to reignite her career, enjoyed some alcohol-free fun with them in New York City over the weekend after taking some time to ''clear her head.''

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''Lindsay was making every effort to re-establish contact with her sober group of friends this weekend while she was in New York.''

The 'Mean Girls' star, who completed her sixth stint in rehab last summer, is now determined to stay on track ahead of her upcoming debut in the play 'Speed the Plow' in London's West End next month.

The insider explained: ''Lindsay said she needed to get away and clear her head, but now she is trying to get back on track. Reconnecting with people in her life that are positive influences is a huge step in the right direction.''

Lindsay - who also has three new movies in pre-production, including the thriller, 'Soul Carriers,' recently insisted her wild partying days were behind her.

She said: ''I'm at a place in my life where I like the commitment. I'm looking forward to that part of it.''
