The former couple was embroiled in a bust-up last month (Oct15), during which Major claimed Lohan had been violent towards her and one of their sons.

The incident sparked an investigation by officials at the Florida Department of Children and Families, but Lohan was subsequently cleared of the abuse accusations and the probe was dropped.

Major has now won a temporary restraining order to keep Lohan away from her, according to TMZ.com, and a judge will review whether to extend the order during a hearing later this month (Nov15).

The couple's two sons, two-year-old Landon and 10-month-old Logan, remain in the custody of their paternal grandmother, and the former couple will only be allowed to see the boys during supervised visits.
