The former presidential candidate Rick Santorum tried to play dumb when TMZ quizzed him about his Lindsay Lohan photo moment, but their sources have confirmed that Rick definitely took a photo of the Mean Girls star. When he was asked about his private paparazzi moment, Santorum didn't seem to know whether or not he had, in fact, pointed his lens at the troubled actress. According to TMZ though, "Rick asked to take a photo of Lindsay using his camera. Yes ... of just Lindsay."

The photo opportunity came at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, immediately after Rick asked Lindsay to take a picture of him, along with Greta Van Susteran, the Fox News personality. Lohan kindly obliged, before being asked to pose for Santorum. He might be acting coy about whether or not such an exchange took place, but TMZ's insiders have blown his cover on this one.

Meanwhile, LIDSAY LOHAN has been fending off comments from Rosie ODonnell, who publicly questioned Lindsay's suitability for playing Elizabeth Taylor in a forthcoming biopic about the late Hollywood legend. O'Donnell appeared on The Today Show, trying to put her comments in to context and compared Lohan's recent struggle with the law and with addiction to the same problems faced by Whitney Houston, saying "I'm 50 years old, and watching Whitney Houston's funeral I remember thinking why didn't more people say what they knew. We all knew. When she would not show up to do this show, not show up to my show. We watched Being Bobby Brown. It was like watching Sid and Nancy."
