The Dancing on the Ceiling hitmaker drew an audience of around 100,000 festival-goers for his debut at the event in the coveted 'Legends' slot on Sunday afternoon.

He began drinking booze onstage and continued to celebrate drawing the biggest crowd of the three-day event once he got back to his hotel in London.

He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "We were drinking champagne like you hadn't drunk it before... It was just a continuation (back in London). Every once in a while you have to just let it go... As I say to my kids, some days it's do as I say, not as I do...

"We were celebrating until the wee hours of the morning. It was about 4.30am/5am, I went to bed... We were raging. The days of dancing on the ceiling are over - I was hanging off the ceiling after that performance."
