‘Loose Women’ regular Coleen Nolan confirmed the rumours that her son, Jake Roche, and his one-time fiancé Jesy Nelson have indeed split up, but insisted that the process was amicable.

25 year old Jesy, a member of girl-group Little Mix, had started dating Rixton lead singer Jake Roche back in 2014, and had announced their engagement to the world in July the following year. However, after more than 12 months with no news as to when the big day might be, rumours appeared in October this year that the two had parted ways.

Little Mix are pleased their album is ''doing so well''.

The girl band, which is comprised of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh Anne-Pinnock, released their latest album 'Glory Days' last month and have admitted they are in talks for a follow-up, but are happy with the success of their latest LP.

The original lyrics of Little Mix’s ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ reportedly contained a more direct reference to Perrie Edwards’ ex Zayn Malik and his new girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

Little Mix would ''love'' to feature a rapper on their new album.

The girl band, which is comprised of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, are set to release their fourth LP 'Glory Days' on November 18, and have teased they would like nothing more than to have an MC collaborate with them.

Little Mix have been struck down by illness again with the girl band having to cancel two of their Belfast gigs just minutes after the doors opened. The Black Magic ladies were due to play a matinee and an evening show at the SSE Arena but they pulled out as Jesy Nelson was unwell.

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards has been left with nasty burns on her hands and arms after an accident involving her boiler at her new home in Surrey.

The 22 year old singer took to the group’s official Twitter account to reveal a couple of pictures which show some painful-looking blisters and scalds on both her hands and up her forearms, which happened after the pilot light on her boiler “blew up” on Thursday night (February 25th).

“So today I had an accident… and by accident I mean I accidentally set myself on fire,” Perrie wrote. “The pilot light on my boiler blew up and it set my arm/hand on fire. Not a pleasant experience.”

There’s no change at the top of the UK album and singles chart this week, as Elvis Presley and Adele continue to hold on to the number one spots respectively. Adele is celebrating her third week on top of the singles chart with ‘Hello’, which has now been certified Platinum by the BPI.

Demi Lovato is heading out on tour next year to support her new album, Demi, and will hit nearly thirty different stops as she makes her way around North America from February until the end of March, 2014. The singer announced her tour through her website on Monday, 30 September, also revealing that she plans on bringing some X Factor-related support with her in the shape of Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and Cher Lloyd.

The singer and X Factor judge will kick-start her tour of North America, which she has called the 'Neon Lights Tour,' in Vancouver on 9 February, before finishing off in Indianapolis on 30 March. Union J have been announced as one of the acts appearing at this year’s Alton Towers Live event. The former X Factor contestants will be appearing alongside the likes of Olly Murs, Labrinth Rizzle Kicks, James Arthur, Stooshe, Conor Maynard and Little Mix at the event, which takes place on July 6th, 2013. Union J were eliminated from series nine of X Factor, in the semi-finals, when they were just narrowly beaten in the public vote by Christopher Maloney.

Tickets for Alton Towers Live 2013 go on sale via www.aeglive.co.uk on Friday March 1, 2013 at 9am. They start at £55, which includes not only the concert performances but also entry to the theme park, with its well-known array of rollercoasters and other attractions. Punters will have access to The Smiler, which is scheduled to open in May and is a new world-first for Alton Towers. The Smiler is described by Celebritain.com as “the Alton Towers Resort’s biggest ever ride and will combine plunging drops and extreme turns with twisted psychological effects.”

The line-up for Alton Towers Live reads like a who’s-who of British pop talent, right now and boasts a roster that managed to snare five 2013 Brit Award nominations between them. The one-day event is expected to be hugely popular, with Britain’s best homegrown talent all on the same bill.

There was months of waiting, but the good ship Little Mix has been set with mast at full sail since the end of last year, with the 2011 UK X Factor winners releasing their debut album and embarking on a tour of the country. In the ever accelerated world of the music industry, there's an argument to say that waiting for almost a year after winning the competition to release your debut album these days is leaving it too long; however the girl group have been keen to prove those dissenters wrong, and they seemed on fine form as they took on Liverpool's Echo Arena last night (Februry 3, 2013).

Little Mix discussed their new single 'DNA', finding time to wash their hair and their feelings surrounding the doubt for their success on the eighth series of UK show 'The X Factor' in an interview with The Guardian today (November 22nd 2012).

Following their spectacular win on the talent show last year, the girl group's schedule has been hectic barely leaving them time to work out at the gym or even get ready for TV interviews. 'Our schedule is that busy that I actually need to check it to find spaces where I can wash my hair', said Perrie, before Jesy added: 'It's much harder because we're four girls. It takes time to do all the hair and makeup. If we do 'Daybreak' we have to get up at, like, 2am. It's ridiculous.' It must indeed take a lot of time and effort to look that good, but it's definitely worth it as they never fail to turn heads in their ever colourful ensembles inspired by '90s teen show 'Saved By The Bell' which Perrie admitted she was 'addicted to'. 

It certainly makes a nice change from when they failed to make much of an impression in the first week of 'The X Factor' where they were widely dubbed as favourites to be sent home which Leigh-Anne admits made them 'feel really bad'. 'On our first week on 'X Factor' the paps waiting outside to shoot us were all shouting, 'See you on 'This Morning' on Monday' because that's where the losers go', Jesy recalled. 'I was like: 'Oh, right, thanks!'' She also added that her mother's partner put a £500 bet down for the band to win and winded up win a massive £10,000 due to the low odds of them coming first. They are certainly not doubted anymore with two number one singles under their belt and their highly-anticipated debut album 'DNA' out now following the release of the title-track single which they describe as a 'love song' with a 'scientific idea' behind it.
