Don’t worry, Mixers! Little Mix are most definitely NOT about to split up, after fans became concerned about a potential rift between the girls when Perrie Edwards cropped bandmate Jesy Nelson out of some photographs.

Perrie posted a series of snaps from the Kids’ Choice Awards this week on her Instagram account, but the fanbase quickly noticed that Jesy wasn’t in any of them, apparently having been cropped out of the snaps.

However, subsequent rumours that Little Mix were somehow on the verge of breaking up over an inter-band feud, with odds on a break-up apparently being slashed by bookmakers, were quickly denied by the group’s management on Thursday (March 16th).

“This is absolutely nonsense created out of nothing. There is no fallout whatsoever within Little Mix,” spokesperson Simon Jones told the Daily Star. “We now sadly live in a world where stories are fabricated from Instagram photo posts.”

The rumours came about purely on the back of social media pictures, even though Perrie herself explained in the captions that the reason Jesy had been edited out of them was because she didn’t like how she looked in any of them.

However, when Jesy then posted pictures of herself from the same event on her own accounts, fans’ tongues started wagging and speculating that the girls were about to go their separate ways.

Jesy was forced to deny the veracity of those rumours, saying in a Snapchat: “So we just want to address the situation of the friendship between me and Perrie. Do you think I’d be lying alone in her bed if I wasn’t friends with her?”

“Hearts around the world broke when 1D split and it seems as though the other ‘X Factor’ super group is heading the same way,” William Hill spokesperson Joe Crilly said the day before, with odds being reduced to 4/1 on Little Mix declaring a hiatus by the end of 2017.
