Little Mix have continued their reign on top of the Official UK Single’s Chart, scoring their second week at number one with ‘Black Magic’. The single’s success marks the first time a girl group have held on to the top spot since the Sugababes spent four weeks at Number one with ‘About You Now’ in 2007.

‘Black Magic’ is the group’s third number one single following 2011’s ‘Cannonball’ and 2012’s ‘Wings’. It is the first release from their upcoming second alum Get Weird, due out in November.

Elsewhere in the chart, former number one Lost Frequencies’ 'Are You With Me?' climbed back up one place to take the number two spot. The single is also this week’s most streamed song, with 2.5 million streams.

In the number three spot was Years & Years’s with ‘Shine’ which dropped one place while David Zowie’s 'House Every Weekend' climbed from number five to four. The top five was rounded off by a new entry from John Newman whose ‘Come And Get It’ debuts at number 5.

In the album chart Years and Years are still at number one with Communion for the second week running. The debut album from the electronic trio managed to outsell their nearest rival, Ed Sheeran’s x by more than 7,000 copies.

In the number three spot was a new entry for Australian rock band Tame Impala, who score their highest ever chart position with Currents. At number four was James Bay’s Chaos and the Calm while Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour rounded off the top five.
