‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Lucy Hale has slammed the persons responsible for leaking topless pictures of her online recently, criticising the perpetrators for invading her privacy and telling them to “kiss my ass”.

The 27 year old American actress took to Twitter to unleash her anger, writing: “Well, I wasn’t going to comment on something so ridiculous, but since 2017 is gonna be all about speaking my truth… I’m going to say something. Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see.”

She referenced the infamous 2014 iCloud hack that caused nude pictures of Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst and many more to spread like wildfire around the internet.

Get ready for an upcoming Lucy Hale album. Most people will know Hale as the face and voice of Aria Montgomery on ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, but Hale’s move into music isn’t unprecedented. Plenty of celebrities have made the leap from TV to music (Miley Cyrus being the obvious example) and Hale’s built-in audience should certainly be an advantage. As the star of a successful ABC series and someone with 3.3 million Twitter followers, Hale has a considerable head start in the business.

Her PLL character might be a bit of a rock chick, but Lucy was raised on country.

The business in question is actually country music. Her debut single You Sound Good to Me dropped on Tuesday and the video already has over 700,000 views on youtube. It’s no Wrecking Ball, but that’s still an impressive count for a country song.

The 2013 Teen Choice was held last night, Sunday 11th August, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. The event was star studded with attendees photographed on the red carpet including Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Brittany Snow, Michelle Rodriguez, Chloe Grace Moretz, Cher Lloyd and Naya Rivera.

The Teen Choice Awards are an annual event held to celebrate what teenagers think deserves recognition from the world of film, TV, fashion and music. It was first held in 1999 and has gradually grown increasing popular with the passing years. This year, according to the Teen Choice Award Website, over 150 million teenagers voted on the various categories.

Great news for fans of Pretty Little Liars – it’s getting a spin-off! This is a sure sign of a show’s huge success or, more worryingly, a sign it might be winding down.

ABC are not only picking up the drama for a fifth season, they’ve also revealed that there will be a spin-off that will premiere after the Pretty Little Liars Halloween episode in October! How exciting! The spin-off will be called Ravenswood. Hopefully it will be more Frasier than Joey in the spin-off ratings.

According to USA Today, Ravenswood will center on a town near its parent show’s Rosewood, Pa., that apparently has been under a generations-long, deadly curse. The story goes that five strangers who are connected by the curse need to work out how to stop it, which involves a fair of research and looking back into the town’s history. That sounds a bit boring. Are they just going to be sat in a library or on the internet every episode? The Lucy Hale-starring Pretty Little Liars, if you recall, revolves around four teenage girlfriends who lose touch after the death of a friend, but are reunited when they begin receiving messages suggesting the friend is still alive. It returns for a new season on June 11th, based on the back of a great season 3 set of ratings, culminating in 2.9 million viewers watching its finale.
