The Crash My Party star played live at the Irvine Spectrum, but had to enlist the audience's help as he battled a sore throat and relied more on his dance moves to get him through the concert.

He also brought out tour mates Dustin Lynch and Randy Houser to entertain the crowd and take shots of alcohol in an effort to give his vocal cords a break.

After a gig in Sacramento on Thursday (15Oct15), he took to Twitter to write, "Hey California. Been battling a chest cold that's kicking my butt. Plowed through Sacramento. Love yall (sic). Sing me through."

He plays a second show in Irvine on Sunday night (18Oct15) and it appears Bryan is still fighting his way through the illness.

On Sunday, he tweeted, "Still weezing and barking ha... Thank you guys for cutting me some slack. The energy has been amazing. Love yall (sic)".

It's the latest setback for Bryan's Kick the Dust Up Tour - earlier this month (Oct15), the 39 year old had to postpone dates in South Carolina and Kentucky because of bad weather.
