Macaulay Culkin doesn't seem to have many fans in the U.K.

The former child actor and his comedy band, Pizza Underground, were paying to a rowdy audience in Nottingham, England, at the Dot to Dot Festival on Sunday (May 25th), but their performance was cut short.

Instead of receiving applause from the festivalgoers, Culkin and his band were heavily booed while getting pelted with beer, reports the Nottingham Post.

After playing a cover of Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day,' which they titled 'It's A Pizza DAY,' the band members were forced to dodge the alcoholic beverages while on stage.

The 'Home Alone' star asked, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them."

The New York-based musical act, which transforms classic rock tracks into pizza themed ones, attempted to continue with their set, but after three more numbers they reportedly decided to call it quits.

"That's the end of the show," he said. "Goodnight."

Once they exited the stage, concertgoers took to Twitter to share how awful Pizza Underground were.

"Of course Macaulay Culkin keeps being booed off stage with The Pizza Underground," tweeted Lia Nicolls. "They change Lou Reed's Perfect Day to 'It's a Pizza Day'"

"The pizza underground genuinely the worse thing I've ever seen on stage," posted Koa Maddock-Bradley. "Who booked these? #d2dfest #nottingham #rockcity."

However, the festival organizers didn't agree with the audience members and weren't pleased with their behaviour, especially since the band has had successful shows at the festival in other U.K. cities.

"After barnstorming sets at both Dot to Dot Manchester and Dot to Dot Bristol," they said in an official statement. "It's such a shame that some members of the crowd had to ruin what was set to be an excellent show."

Pizza Underground also addressed the gig on Twitter by posting, "Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone."
