Madonna has moved to Lisbon, Portugal after buying a house reported to be worth £7 million.
The move is said to have come after her son David Banda joined the Benfica football team youth academy.
The singer announced the news on Instagram by posting a photo of a kitchen with baskets hanging from the ceiling and writing: ‘I used to be a basket case but now I Live in Lisbon!’.

Madonna won an undisclosed sum from Associated Newspapers after MailOnline published an article about the adoption of her twin daughters from Malawi earlier this year.
Madonna has won a payout from the publishers of MailOnline at the High Court in London, following a “serious invasion of privacy” following her adoption of twin girls from Malawi earlier this year.
The 58 year old pop megastar signed a deal on Thursday (July 27th) accepting an undisclosed sum in damages from Associated Newspapers, who publish MailOnline. The case against them concerned the four year old twin girls, Stella and Estere, whom Madonna adopted from Malawi in February this year.
The singer brought the case in January, after MailOnline published a report revealing the girls’ names, race, age, the fact they lived in an orphanage in Malawi, and Madonna's application to adopt them.

An emergency court order granted earlier this week prevented the Gotta Have It! memorabilia business from auctioning Madonna's personal items.
Madonna has blocked the auctioning of personal items, including a letter sent to her from prison by the later rapper Tupac Shakur and a pair of worn underwear, after winning an emergency court order in New York.
The eleventh-hour court order was granted on Tuesday (July 18th) by Manhattan Supreme Court Gerald Leibovitz, who ordered Gotta Have It! Collectibles to remove many items related to Madonna from theirrock and roll-themed auction and site, it has been confirmed by E! News.
“I was shocked to learn of the planned auctioning of the Shakur letter, as I had no idea that the Shakur letter was no longer in my possession,” according to the original report by Page Six.

An emotional letter written from rapper Tupac to a young Madonna reveals the star broke up with the singer because she was “white”, it has been claimed. The pair dated in the 1990s when Tupac was just 25 and Madonna 37 – 18 months before he was gunned down.

It's been just over a year since Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour reached its conclusion in Australia, and now if you didn't get to see her live then you can catch it all on DVD this year with the official concert film release and live album.

Along with the concert film, the release includes a 22 track live double album as well as some behind the scenes footage and previously unreleased material. Madonna and Guy Ritchie's new wife Jacqui seem to have become embroiled in a 'who had the best Christmas' competition on Instagram.
Madonna’s custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie has escalated from the court room to social media, as the former couple traded pictures via Instagram to prove who had the better Christmas holidays.
Over the festive period which she spent with three of her kids, the 57 year old pop legend posted a number of throwback pictures of her brood, including Rocco who was spending Christmas on the other side of the Atlantic with Ritchie and his new wife.
Putting up a clip of her and her eldest son laughing together, Madge wrote “Merry X-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life!” Meanwhile, Ritchie’s new wife Jacqui posted a picture of their wedding day back in July, in which Rocco is standing next to them, writing “Happy Holidays with love from the Ritchies”.
