An emotional letter written from rapper Tupac to a young Madonna reveals the star broke up with the singer because she was “white”, it has been claimed. The pair dated in the 1990s when Tupac was just 25 and Madonna 37 – 18 months before he was gunned down.

You can also see her final performances at the Sydney Qudos Bank Arena in March 2016. It has been directed by Danny B. Tull and Nathan Rissman with whom she has worked on previous live releases.

Madonna has been granted permission to adopt four-year-old twin girls named Esther and Stella from Malawi.

The singer previously adopted son David Banda from the African country in 2008 and daughter Mercy a year later. The 58-year-old is also mother to 20-year-old daughter Lourdes, from her relationship with trainer Carlos Leon, and son Rocco, 16, from her marriage to Guy Ritchie.

Controversial pop star Madonna has applied to adopt two children from Malawi despite previously being criticised by the country’s former President. The singer already has two adopted children from the country, David Banda and Mercy James, which she applied for in 2006 and 2009.

The Like A Virgin hitmaker has gone in front of the country’s court, who will now decide if she is fit to adopt two more children.

With her Rebel Heart World Tour generating increasing amounts of undesirable headlines, Madonna might face the theoretical possibility of a sexual assault charge after pulling down the top of a teenage fan she had invited on stage, briefly exposing her breast.

In the incident at Brisbane Entertainment Center on Thursday evening (March 17th), captured in a fan video which has since gone viral, the 57 year old singer yanked down 17 year old Josephine Georgiou’s shirt, revealing one of her breasts.

“She’s the kind of girl you just want to slap on the ass,” the singer said admiringly of the barista and would-be model standing next to her, but nobody in the crowd could have been prepared for what then happened.

Madonna’s custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie has escalated from the court room to social media, as the former couple traded pictures via Instagram to prove who had the better Christmas holidays.

Over the festive period which she spent with three of her kids, the 57 year old pop legend posted a number of throwback pictures of her brood, including Rocco who was spending Christmas on the other side of the Atlantic with Ritchie and his new wife.

Putting up a clip of her and her eldest son laughing together, Madge wrote “Merry X-mas to the Sun-shine of my Life!” Meanwhile, Ritchie’s new wife Jacqui posted a picture of their wedding day back in July, in which Rocco is standing next to them, writing “Happy Holidays with love from the Ritchies”.

Playboy will no longer be publishing nude photos of women. As of next year, as part of the magazine’s redesign, no explicit nude photographs will appear within its pages. Feminists across the World may be celebrating the shift away from such images – the battle still wages with The Sun over its Page Three – but Playboy’s decision does not appear to have been made with quashing sexism in mind.

Legendary indie music icon Morrissey has spoken out against crowdsourcing in pop. Currently without a record deal and having a reputation for falling out with record label bosses over the years, the star has vowed never to resort to raising money online as a means of making new music.

In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais, the Mozfather took aim at artists who use the internet to source the money for album projects. “It is a desperate measure, and insulting to your audience,” he railed. “We have already provided sufficient amounts of money. What is the next thing you're going to ask?”

In what’s been a pretty appalling week of negative PR for Madonna, there appears to be some good news at last, as the ‘theatre texting’ incident appears to be blowing over.

The New York Daily News reported at the weekend that the singer had started texting during an intimate off-Broadway theatre performance of ‘Hamilton’, a hip-hop musical directed by and starring Lin-Manuel Miranda. Taking the stage to appeal for charitable donations to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Miranda was reported to have made a barbed reference to someone in the audience who had been practicing poor etiquette.

After the performance, Miranda was reported by Playbill.com to have tweeted “Tonight was the first time I asked stage management NOT to allow a celebrity (who was texting all through Act 2) backstage. #noselfieforyou”. Taking these two statements together, many have assumed that person to be Madonna.

Madonna is not banned from Radio 1 and just needs to get back to releasing decent songs, according to the station's controller Ben Cooper. Madonna had said she was shocked that Living For Love would not be played on the station, saying, "Wait a second. Shouldn't it be to do with whether you wrote a good, catchy pop song?"

Madonna is not banned from Radio 1, but it appears she has little chance of appearing on the station.

Still, Cooper responded saying that the song wasn't played because it wasn't very good.
