The Queen of Pop Madonna will be the next star to buckle in alongside James Corden for ‘Carpool Karaoke’.

The singer confirmed her upcoming appearance on the popular ‘Late Late Show’ segment on Twitter, posting one picture of herself behind the wheel and another alongside Corden.

Madonna captioned the first picture of her and Corden together: “Riding around Manhattan with this Hunk of Burning Love @latelateshow carpool karaoke”.

She then shared a solo picture of herself in the driver’s seat and wrote: “Get in the car With my Road Dawg James Cordon @latelateshow carpool Karaoke!,” along with a slew of emojis.

Madonna is the latest in a long list of high profile music stars to take a ride along with the British chat show host.

Most recently Lady Gaga made an appearance (where Corden actually let her take the wheel). Past guests have also included, Britney Spears, Adele, Mariah Carey, Sia, One Direction and even First Lady Michelle Obama.

Next month Madonna will be honoured with Billboard's Woman of the Year award during a ceremony on December 9. The accolade tops off an incredible year for the singer, which has seen her Rebel Heart tour gross $170 million, making her the highest-grossing solo touring artist in history.

Speaking about her impact during her over-30-year career, Janice Min, president and chief creative officer of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, said: "She is an important feminist on top of that, a one-of-a-kind artist who's used her influence to change the conversation around women, sexuality and equal rights."
