Madonna has resorted to Instagram once more in an attempt to win over her son Rocco, whom she hasn’t seen in months, by posting a picture of him as a baby with the words “I miss you” as a caption.

The 57 year old singer, who plays Hong Kong for the first time in her career tonight on the latest leg of her Rebel Heart tour, has been embroiled in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie as to where 15 year old Rocco will live, after he flew to London to live with his father upon leaving her tour in December last year.

Tu me manque............??

On Wednesday (February 17th), the pop megastar revealed her heartbreak over the family rift as trawled through her photographs to find a cute throwback snap of her and Rocco playing together when he was a baby, simply captioning the image “Tu me manqué……”, translated as ‘I miss you’.

This latest social media outpouring comes soon after it was reported that Madonna is “concerned” about her ex-husband’s approach to parenting, after The Sun obtained pictures of Rocco smoking a cigarette.

“She has grown increasingly concerned that Rocco's father is doing nothing to give him rules or guidance,” a source told the British tabloid paper.

Meanwhile, the custody battle rages on after a court date in New York, due for February 2nd, was recently delayed by a month until March 2nd. Ritchie has reportedly armed himself with top lawyers, as he seeks to allow Rocco to stay in London with him and not return to Manhattan to his mother.

He apparently quit the tour after an argument with Madonna over his smartphone usage and the possibility of it obstructing his homework. She had successfully sought an emergency ruling to get Rocco to return to America for Christmas, but despite the judge’s ruling he refused to leave London and has remained there since.
