Madonna is set to steal the show at the 2015 BRIT Awards once again. The iconic singer will return to the country she once called home at the end of this month to perform at the British music industry's most prestigious awards ceremony.

Madonna, who will release her 13th studio album 'Rebel Hearts' on March 6th, will join a A-List roster of performers that includes the previously-announced Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood, Take That and Taylor Swift.

The 56-year-old songstress, who earned 12 BRIT nominations - winning two in 2001 and 2006 for Best International Female, last played at the award show 20 years ago. During that ceremony, back in 1995, she opened the night with a performance of her hit track 'Bedtime Stories.'

Madonna, who will also perform at the Grammy Awards next week, first announced this exciting news via Twitter on Tuesday (Feb 3rd). "Hello to all my UK Rebel Hearts," she tweeted. "See you at the Brits on Feb 25th #BritsImMadonna #livingforlove #rebelheart."

"We're delighted to bring Madonna back to the BRITS," chairman of the BRITS, Max Lousada, also said in a statement. "She's an icon, an innovator and, above all, an entertainer. Having her as part of the show will guarantee an unforgettable night of music."

The official Brit Awards Twitter also shared news of Madonna's performance, posting, AHHH!! The Queen of Pop, the one and only @Madonna will perform at #BRITs2015! #BRITsImMadonna."

The 2015 BRIT Awards will take place on February, 25th, at The O2 in London and will be broadcast live on ITV.
