Though it’s been the most commercially successful tour of 2012, according to Billboard, Madonna’s huge global tour hasn’t been without its mishaps, with numerous reports ranging from bad sound to poor performances from the star herself, meaning that the Queen of Pop’s crown is perhaps starting to look a little like folly.

At a gig in Chile, however, she didn’t even get as far as the performance itself before things started going awry. The Sun reports that Madonna was sound checking at an outdoor arena in the capital of Santiago when she became aware of people in the venue smoking. “There are people smoking right now. No smoking!” she ranted, continuing “If you're going to smoke cigarettes, I'm not doing a show. “ She got no response though, so continued with ever increasing desperation. “You don't care about me? I don't care about you. All right? Are we going to play that game?” and then “I'm not kidding. I can't sing if you smoke.” Presumably having a full on hissy fit by this point she further fumed “If you love me then don't smoke. No smoking. You're looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I'm a stupid f****** idiot.”

She was an idiot. She hadn’t realized that none of them spoke English. Despite this, the show went ahead without a hitch, although there were reports that some of the fans were again dissatisfied with Madge’s performance.
