Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal had an unusual birthday on 16 November (04) - she spent it kissing Ellen Barkin.
The pair shared a kiss on the New York City set of their movie TRUST THE MAN as Gyllenhaal turned 27.
And after filming her scenes, the cast and crew surprised the brunette actress with a birthday cake.
A source says, "She was surprised and a huge smile came across her face.
"Maggie looked close to tears after she blew out the candles on her cake and made a wish."
Billy Crudup, Julianne Moore and David Duchovny also star in the movie.
