Major Lazer have teamed up with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj for their latest track 'Run Up', for which they unveiled a new lyric video this week. They're set to launch their fourth studio album later this year, though released details have yet to be announced.

The video for 'Run Up' was released yesterday (January 26th 2017), and was created out of Major Lazer's friendship with PARTYNEXTDOOR whom they frequently bump into while recording in Los Angeles. 'PARTYNEXTDOOR is a good friend of ours. We're always working in LA when he is around and we've cut a lot of music and we really believe in what he does and his style', said Major Lazer's Diplo on working on the track.

'He came up with a great song. I've always wanted to work with Nicki as well, she's on our short list. Of course this record... she just vibed with it, she loved the feeling and timing was right so we got her on it. So hopefully we can do a lot more with her next time, we've traded some music back and forth so hopefully we got some of that done.'

Major Lazer - who are Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire - will return with a new album over the coming months. Entitled 'Music Is The Weapon', it's the follow up to their US Dance number one 'Peace Is The Mission' which went multi-Platinum in 2015.

They've already released two other singles from the upcoming record; the UK chart-topper 'Cold Water' featuring Justin Bieber and MØ, and 'Believer' with Showtek, as well as promotional release 'My Number' featuring Bad Royale. Last year also saw them release their Christmas anthem 'Christmas Trees' featuring Protoje, which they launched as part of their label Mad Decent's festive compilation, 'A Very Decent Christmas 4'.
