Taken from their upcoming album, Squeeze is Man Like Me's shameless new single set to be released on May 28th. One of producer Mike Skinner's first new projects since The Streets, Squeeze is a decadent electro/grime anthem with an utterly debauched video to match.
The video features the hostage of a barely clothed mature woman about to be sacrificed in a satanic ritual. She is rescued as two burly men burst in and wrestle the London duo to the ground. The song itself is awash with lyrical sexual euphemisms and is a summery mix of upbeat keyboard and synth sounds and contagious drumbeats. Squeeze has already received support from Annie Mac and Rob Da Bank from Radio 1.
Man Like Me are due for a one-off launch show at Dingwalls, London on May 24th and their new album is to be release later in the summer.
The much-loved by Mike Skinner album is to be released on his record label The Beats and will include the duo's previous single London Town.
Tour dates to be announced.
