Mariah Carey doesn't like reality TV and says her only television viewing now is watching cartoons with her kids.
Mariah Carey avoids reality TV.
The 'You're Mine (Eternal)' singer has brushed off claims she doesn't know who her husband Nick Cannon's ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian is, but admits she doesn't really keep up with her show.
She said: ''Of course I've heard of her, but I don't really watch reality television.''
Nick previously opened up about his romance with Kim - who wed rapper Kanye West last weekend - admitting he dumped the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, but Mariah, 44, doesn't mind her spouse talking about his past liaisons.
She said: ''It's true that I'm probably more private than Nick is, although I think because he's a comedian he's more used to putting it out there than I am.''
The couple have three-year-old twins together, Moroccan and Monroe, and the legendary singer now bases her life - including her busy music career - around her kids.
Mariah explained: ''Becoming a mommy has certainly changed me, both professionally and personally. Now it's not about me, it's all about them and I just want to do the right things so their childhood can be as beautiful and happy as possible.''
And Mariah has even changed her TV viewing habits because of the tots, who she affectionately dubs 'Dem Babies'.
She added to Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''Now I only watch animation with the children because Dem Babies are very picky and like to watch cartoons until they go to sleep.''
