The appetite for a new 'Star Wars' film is high, and now fans have just a few more weeks to wait until the eighth episodic instalment of the series, 'The Last Jedi' hits the big screen. As the longest movie in the franchise so far, we imagine there's a lot of action to be packed into the flick, and actor Mark Hamill who plays Luke Skywalker is pleading with fans to keep it all a secret, so as not to spoil it for others.

Taking to his Twitter account, Hamill wrote alongside the humorous cartoon:

'The Last Jedi' will see Hamill reprise his role as Skywalker in full capacity for the first time in the new trilogy, after making a small cameo in 'The Force Awakens'. It's going to be a momentous moment that millions have been waiting for, for quite some time. With his stating the Jedi must come to an end in trailers we've seen for 'The Last Jedi', we imagine he's going to play a huge part in the storyline to come.

We'll first see Skywalker approached by Daisy Ridley's character, Rey. Sitting in self-imposed exile, he's not a man who wishes to be disturbed, but after some convincing will do his best to help Rey sharpen her talents. Whether or not that extends to him leaving exile and rejoining the fight against The First Order remains to be seen, but we imagine there are going to be some major complications and blurring of lines between the Light and Dark Side in the future.

The film will also continue the story of General Leia, played by the late, great Carrie Fisher. Exactly where her story goes remains to be seen, but it's one we know will actually wrap up in 2019's 'Episode IX', with Hamill previously promising a "respectful" end to the character's narrative arc.
