Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk has extended its lead at the top of the U.K. pop charts to five weeks.

The hit keeps Philip George's Wish You Were Here and Hozier's Take Me To Church away from the number one spot, placing in second and third, respectively, on the Official Singles Chart.

The track has also topped the U.S. Hot 100 charts and Ronson's new album, Uptown Special, is expected to debut at number one on both countries' album charts next week (beg19Jan15).

Meanwhile, on the U.K. albums countdown, George Ezra's Wanted on Voyage returns to the top, pushing Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour down to three. Ed Sheeran's X is at two.
