The single, featuring Bruno Mars, was released in December (14), spending seven weeks at the top of the U.K. chart, and it has now topped the list of the best-selling singles, based on sales and audio streams, by shifting 1.44 million units in 2015, bringing its overall total to 1.93 million.

It is followed by Hozier's Take Me To Church, which sold 996,000 copies despite never reaching the top chart position, and Cheerleader by OMI, with 994,000.

The top five is rounded out by Ellie Goulding's Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack Love Me Like You Do, with 983,000, and Furious 7 song See You Again by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, with 857,000.
