Fact: Playwright and director Martin Mcdonagh is returning to his theatre roots with his first U.K. stage show in over a decade. Bosses at London's Royal Court have chosen Hangmen to open the venue's autumn (15) season. The play follows England's "second-best hangman" on the day officials decide to abolish capital punishment in 1965. The In Bruges filmmaker's last British production was The Pillowman, which premiered at the National Theatre in 2003. He most recently debuted A Behanding in Spokane on Broadway in 2010.
