Action Man Matt Damon Was Unaware He Was Terrified Of Heights Until He Completely "Froze" While Filming On The Roof Of A Luxury Hotel In Dubai A Decade Ago.
The Bourne Identity star was excited to receive an invitation to enjoy a glass of champagne and watch the sun set over the Arabian Peninsula with his wife Luciana Barroso on the helicopter pad of the Burj Al Arab hotel, but his experience was ruined when his unknown fear of heights took over.
"We get up to the top and we go out on the pad and we start walking towards the edge and my wife goes all the way to the edge and I literally froze and went full lizard brain...," he tells late night host James Corden.
"My legs just didn't work and she thought I was joking. I didn't know I was afraid of heights, I had never been up that high..."
