Eighties pop icon Matt Goss' high hopes for a musical comeback have been dealt a major blow - he's having to settle for headlining gigs at British holiday camps.

The former BROS star recently appeared on British reality TV show HELL'S KITCHEN, hoping the exposure would reinvigorate his career.

However, the singer's dreams have not become a reality and he's now been booked to entertain holiday-makers at September's (04) ULTIMATE WEEKENDER event at the BUTLINS resort in Minehead, Somerset, England.

The Butlins official website says, "Matt Goss is headlining at Butlins and will be playing tracks from his highly acclaimed new album EARLY SIDE OF LATER as well as old favourites."

A friend of the I OWE YOU NOTHING star says, "He was hoping his appearance on Hell's Kitchen would make him a big star once again. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out as he'd like."
