The trailer for Jonas Akerlund's indie-comedy 'Small Apartments' introduces a superb cast including Matt Lucas, Peter Stormare and Billy Crystal.
Who wouldn't pay to see a comedy movie starring Matt Lucas, Juno Temple, Billy Crystal, Peter Stormare, Amanda Plummer, Rebel Wilson, James Caan, Johnny Knoxville and...wait for it...Dolph Lundgren? Well, that's exactly what you're getting for your money in Small Apartments, which premiered in the UK on March 22, 2013. Nick Nunziata of Chud.com summed the whole thing up in his review of the quirky flick, "They don't make them like this anymore. Actually they've never made them like this before," he wrote.

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, the the award-winning filmmaker behind Lady Gaga's Paparazzi video, Small Apartments was officially selected at the 2012 South by Southwest Film Festival and is generating considerable buzz in indie-comedy circles. Based on Chris Millis' novel of the same name, the movie follows Franklin Franklin (Lucas) who plays the alphorn and dreams of living in Switzerland. His brother, X-Men's James Marsden, sends him fingernail clippings in the mail, though Franklin's main problem is that his landlord is laid out on the lino of his kitchen - dead.
As should be pretty clear by now, the movie boasts a remarkable and wonderfully varied cast. Matt Lucas will be familiar to British audiences for his classic BBC series 'Little Britain', though had roles in Alice In Wonderland, Bridesmaids, Shaun of the Dead and The Wind in the Willows.
Billy Crystal, who plays 'Billy Walnut' in Small Apartments, needs no introduction. An award-winning actor and comic considered the godfather of the Academy Awards ceremony, New York born Crystal made his first appearance on 'The Tonight Show' in 1975, and the rest is history.
Juno Temple is now widely recognized as one of the most talented and versatile actresses in Hollywood. Are you an aspiring young actress wondering why you keep missing out on those career changing roles? Well, that's because Juno Temple keeps getting them. She stole the show in Killer Joe and subsequently landed a part in The Dark Knight Rises before signing on for Disney's live-action fairy tale Maleficent with Angelina Jolie. The daughter of director Julien Temple and producer Amanda Temple, Juno plays Simone in Small Apartments.
Such is the talent of Peter Stormare - who plays Mr Olivetti in Small Apartments - that the Swedish actor has worked with just about every top director and producer in the business. He starred in Spielberg's Minority Report, the Coen Brothers' Fargo, The Big Lebowski, Bad Boys II, Lars Von Trier's Dancer In The Dark, Lasse Hallstom's Chocolat. He stunned at John Abruzzi in Prison Break and was embraced by American audiences while performing Hamlet in New York.
Rebel Wilson - who is quickly emerging as Hollywood's go-to actress for 'funny and younger than Melissa McCarthy' - rose to fame in Judd Apatow's Bridesmaids and gained further acclaim in Pitch Perfect, alongside Anna Kendrick. Her other credits include Ice Age: Continental Drift and Struck By Lighting.
Johnny Knoxville, James Caan, Dolph Lundgren and Amanda Plummer make up the cast for Small Apartments, which is shaping up to be one of the funniest and intriguing movies of the year.
