Picture: Matthew Broderick walks his 7-year-old son, James Wilkie, to school New York City, USA - 15.12.09
Sports-mad actor Matthew Broderick is so disillusioned with his beloved New York Mets baseball team, he's thinking of switching his allegiance.
The Mets have suffered a severe slump in recent years, and Broderick admits he's growing tired of watching the team lose week in week out.
He tells the New York Post, "It's very hard being a Mets fan these days. I'm thinking of getting a divorce. Maybe I'll become a (St. Louis) Cardinals fan."
Broderick isn't the only famous fan of the beleaguered team - other Mets devotees include Jerry Seinfeld, Ben Stiller, Tim Robbins and Viggo Mortensen.
