Oscar-winner Matthew Mcconaughey revisited his chest-thumping character from The Wolf Of Wall Street while giving a pep talk to his beloved college football team.

The Dallas Buyers Club star surprised the Longhorns team of his alma mater the University of Texas at Austin ahead of their upcoming big game against the University of Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday (04Oct14) when he showed up at a practice session to give them an inspiring talk.

He told the team, "Last night I was thinking about what I do and what you do, and I ask myself this question all the time - 'Why do I do what I do? Why I am an actor?' And I was gonna ask you all - 'Why do you play football?'... Ask yourself tonight when you look in the mirror, 'Why do I play this game?'... At the end of the day every single one of you gotta be playing for just one person (yourself)..."

After his speech, MCConaughey led the whole team in his Wolf of Wall Street chest-pump meditation - similar to the one he created for his stockbroker character Mark Hanna in the Martin Scorsese film.
