After two years of dating, the happy couple became engaged in June 2013 when the 35 year-old actor proposed to his model beau with a blue sapphire ring. "An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf Ball," Morrison tweeted at the time. "I'm going to marry my best friend! Happy day for me and @Renee_Puente."
Their big day took place in an intimate ceremony on the private estate in Kihei, which was attended by 50 close family and friends, People magazine reports. Morrison walked down the aisle in a custom Brooks Brothers tuxedo, and Puente sported a Gustavo gown with specially designed shoes by Emmy London.
After saying "I Do," the 31 year-old bride staged a special Hula performance for her new husband, who later joined im for a couple's version. The loved up couple also sang a duet of Laura Benanti's 'Starry Eyed/Video Games.'
"It was a small affair," a source told Us Weekly. "They wanted to keep it intimate and special."
"Matt's friends absolutely adore Renee!" the insider added. "They have never seen Matt happier than when he is with her. She is super supportive of his career and also works hard on her own. She is such a great girl and they are awesome together."
Congratulations to the happy couple!
