The 28 year-old actress recently opened up about being "the queen bee" to her two young sons and husband of four years, Brian Austin Green.
Megan Fox is usually known to be very discreet when it comes to talking about her personal life, especially her husband of four years Brian Austin Green and their two children two young boys, Noah, 2, and 8 month-old Bodhi, but in a rare occurrence the Hollywood actress joyfully speaks about her family life.
Fox recently gushed about motherhood
"I love our family-I have a little football team that's going to take care of me," the 28-year-old starlet told The Daily Mail. "I like being around boys and being the center of attention in my family because I'm the matriarch, the queen bee. My husband is the sensitive type, he's not macho. And I'm going to raise our boys like that: sensitive, sweet, chivalrous types."
Just how bad are the reviews for 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'?
Critics haven't exactly been kind to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which opened in US theatres on Friday. Scoring just 20% on Rotten Tomatoes, the Michael Bay produced reboot has suffered a critical mauling, yet it's still predicted to rake it in at the weekend box office. But before you head off to the cinema for 100 minutes of disappointment, here's 10 of the film's most damning reviews to help change your weekend plans.
Teenage Mutnat Ninja Turtles is expected to do well at the box office
"Too-brief thrills only shine a harsher light on the film's laborious pacing and cringeworthy one-liners spilling from the maws of the ninja teens. Soren Anderson If ever there was a movie that should not have been made, this is that movie." -Kyle Anderson, Entertainment Weekly

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' could be back for a sequel. Really.
Despite reviews so appalling they bordered on the ridiculous, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should comfortably overhaul Guardians of the Galaxy at the box-office this weekend, on its way to a cool $50 million debut. The Michael Bay produced Megan Fox starrer is exceeding expectations, with Paramount originally estimating its debut at around $40 million.
Look at that Turtle.
Marvel's Guardians is no slouch and is expected to take $40 million in its second weekend for a global total of $300 million. A sequel for that movie is already confirmed, but at this rate, Bay and his team might have to start thinking about investing more time in those wise-cracking Turtles.
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is heading for a $50 million plus opening at the U.S box office this week, and is set to overtake Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and nab the top spot.
Despite the fact it has been panned by critics and holds a dismal 20% 'Certified Rotten' on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the cinematic reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise looks like it's headed to the top of the U.S box office.
It'll be pizza and shakes all round at Paramount then
Projections estimate the Michael Bay-produced film will take over $50 million in its opening week, meaning it is on course to overtake current number one at box office, Guardians of the Galaxy, which shot to the top spot last week with an opening of $92 million and is still projected to take a healthy $40 million+ this week.
This movie probably should have never been made.
There's really no excuses here. Despite not one single person clamouring for a rebooted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Paramount went and did it anyway - throwing $125 million at the thing and letting Michael Bay produce. The early on-set shots looked frankly ridiculous and it seems all the post-production in the world couldn't have saved this one.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is out now
The movie stars Megan Fox as April O'Neil, the Gotham reporter who works with the mutant turtles to save the city from Shredder and his evil Foot Clan. Bay had angered die-hard turtle fans (there are some, apparently) when, in 2013, he suggested scrapping the original backstory of radioactive ooze and anthropomorphic powers to have the turtles become "loveable aliens". Well, despite backing down on those threats, Bay and his team appear to have made a movie that nobody - nobody - understands.

The "Ninja Turtles" promo rounds are getting a bit weird.
Miley Cyrus is getting in on the Ninja Turtles excitement, in typical Miley Cyrus fashion. These days, that means she posted a picture in her underwear. No judgement, Miley has every right to post pictures in her underwear, especially when said underwear is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed.
[Insert "she's just being Miley" joke here.]
So let’s talk about Miley Cyrus’ underwear, since that’s not creepy at all, right? No, actually, there’s no way to make that topic not creepy, so we’ll just leave you with the picture and move on to actual Turtles news. More or less.
The TMNT reboot has its Los Angeles premiere - but will it be good enough to shake off the critics of this remake?
The stars of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot were out in full force on Sunday 3 August for the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. Megan Fox, who plays intrepid reporter April O’Neil, stepped on to the red carpet with her fellow co-stars Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Alan Ritchson and Johnny Knoxville, as well as the film’s producer, Michael Bay.

The new film is highly predictable but high on action sequences
The modern trend of big budget blockbusters taking on comic book characters and explaining their origins visits the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is released in America on August 8th
Controversy has dogged the new film before it’s even opened, with the Australian promotional posters being recently removed by studio Paramount ahead of its September 11 opening date there due to the image similiarities to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. But TMNT is coming to American cinemas imminently, and it will be up against the box office smash Guardians of the Galaxy for top spot.

Most of Hollywood ventured out for a nostalgia hit as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles enjoyed its Los Angeles premiere on August 1.
The film’s stars, Megan Fox, William Fichtne, Alan Ritchson, Johnny Knoxville and Will Arnett, were all in attendance but it was for former, and most marketable star whom left the premiere with the headlines following her critique of the critics, who haven’t been as impressed with TMNT as a certain other summer blockbuster.
On the subject of the film’s less than desirable critical conclusion, Fox decided the reviews and the people who wrote them could “f*ck off”, alluding to Transformers: Age of Extinction, which faired poorly with the critics but scored big at the box office.

Megan Fox - Los Angeles premiere of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' - Arrivals - Los Angeles, California, United States - Sunday 3rd August 2014
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 9/11 gaff shows why previewing in context is paramount. Or not, as the case may be.
The upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to revive a beloved franchise, especially for adults who enjoyed Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo’s pizza-eating, crime fighting New York antics.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
But the TMNT resurgence has been stunted by a marketing goof: the four turtles are seen hurtling towards the ground from a burning tower, which probably wouldn’t have sparked so much controversy had the September 11 release date been absent.

Will this affect the movie's release in any way? Unlikely.
Following severe backlash, Paramount Pictures have pulled the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles poster, bearing an image of the Turtles jumping from a burning building in an unfortunate combination with the 9/11/2014 release date. While online sleuths have already released screenshots of the image, the studio made a full apology and tried to minimize the circulation of the Australian promo poster.
TMNT - Leonardo's new look wasn't the biggest controversy to come out of this film.
"We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia," Paramount Pictures Australia said in an emailed statement to Reuters. The statement continued: "Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offence and have taken immediate action to discontinue its use."

The 28 year-old actress can't shake the comparisons to Angelina Jolie, especially since the 'Maleficient' star admitted the same thing a couple of years back.
Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie are both considered two of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses, but they seem to have more in common than just looks.
The 28 year-old actress, who is the mother to two young boys, 2 month-old Bodhi, and Noah (19 months), doesn't seem to be the most sociable person.
"I consider myself a 'girl's girl' in that I'm not competitive, jealous, or catty," Fox said in Cosmopolitan's August 2014 issue.

The 28 year-old actress recently hinted that she may leave showbiz when admitting that "it's so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work."
Even though Megan Fox gave birth twice in just over a year, she was soon back working in movies.
But this doesn't mean the 28 year-old actress doesn't find it difficult! In fact, Fox recently admitted that being away from her children is so hard that she may even quit acting altogether.
"I've never been an extraordinarily ambitious girl or career-oriented, but especially once I got pregnant with my first son and now [having] my second, it's so hard to be a working mom especially when your heart is not in your work, when your heart is with your family," she said to Parents magazine.

Some years ago, four baby turtles were discovered in a puddle of radioactive ooze in a sewer by a rat named Splinter. Adopting them as his own, he gave them the names of the four most influential Italian painters: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, and the humanoid reptiles grew up learning the art of ninjitsu from their rodentine sensei. Defiant defenders of New York City, they must band together to fight against the merciless Foot Clan; a gang of vicious criminals led by city samurai The Shredder. Meanwhile, an aspiring reporter named April is following the turtles, but with no-one likely to believe her story the city residents have little hope left for peace in their crime ravaged home. Determined to restore humanity to the town, April joines the turtles in their fight - though not even Splinter is strong enough to take on their latest enemy.

Megan Fox, in a recent interview, has explained why she now appears in so few films. The 'Jennifer's Body' actress explained how she only does one film a year in Los Angeles so she can spend more time with her family.
Megan Fox has admitted she is not "extraordinary ambitious" and, now a mother of two, only appears in movies to ensure her children's future is financially secure. The 28-year-old was recently interviewed in a parenting magazine and emphasised how her children are her main priority.
Megan Fox discussed parenting and her two children in a recent interview.

April O’Neil is a fearless news reporter whose job to land stories is all the more dangerous in this day and age as the city of New York is overcome with crime, suffering and destruction. The law enforcers of the city are unequipped to deal with the level of power that the top villains of the streets wield, those being The Shredder and his brutal Foot Clan. There is still one last hope for the town though with the arrival of four mutant brothers (Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello); laboratory guinea pigs (well, turtles) that found themselves living in their sewer for most of their lives while being trained in the art of ninjitsu by their rodentine sensei Splinter. They have now surfaced to defend the human race against The Shredder and April is determined to gain the exclusive story on their existence alongside her trusty cameraman Vernon Fenwick. Question is, is she ready to face such formidable creatures?

The Michael Bay-produced reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has finally got its first trailer, giving us a chance to see how the motion-captured turtles look compared to their traditionally animated/live-action predecessors. And they look kind sinister.
In a city rife with crime and destruction, there's danger at every turn and suffering in every corner. The real authority of New York is The Shredder and his violent Foot Clan, whose power supersedes both police and politics. The only hope for restoring safety to the streets comes in the form of four mutant brothers, created in a laboratory many years ago and who have now found their way out of the sewers. A plucky newspaper reporter named April O'Neil is determined to land an exclusive story on the arrival of these martial art heroes alongside her cameraman Vernon Fenwick, but on being faced directly with these teenage mutant ninja turtles, she doesn't feel as brave as she first appears. However, if she wants to save the city from total obliteration, she and the masked mutants (Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello) must team up and fight against Shredder and his formidable Clan.
