Megan Fox got over her germaphobia after giving birth to her son.

The 'This is 40' actress - who shares five-month-old son Noah with actor husband Brian Austin Green - had a fear of germs and suffers from OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), once saying she hated the feeling of dry paper on her skin, but experiencing child birth has helped alleviate her fears.

In an interview with the new UK issue of Marie Claire magazine, she said: ''I think Brian was waiting to see what I would do, because, you know, when they come out they are covered in all kinds of stuff. I took him right on my chest and from that moment nothing he does freaks me out.

''The anxiety has been significantly better since he was born. I would say 80 percent better, which is nice.''

Although she has learned to be more carefree about germs, some habits are harder to curtail as the 26-year-old beauty admits she still drives former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star Brian, 39, ''nuts'' by leaving clothes on the floor.

She said: ''I'm a germaphobe, but I'm really messy. I'm not disgusting - like, I don't leave food or dirty dishes out or anything, but I take my clothes off next to the laundry basket without putting them in and that drives him nuts.''
