Mel B Set To Become A Super-Judge With Both America’s Got Talent And X-Factor Roles?

Apparently it’s between Mel B and Sharon Osbourne for the last remaining judge's slot on X Factor. With the Spice Girl’s performance last year and her upcoming spot on America’s Got Talent – we’ve got her down as the favourite.

With Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow set to return, Simon Cowell has got some decisions to make as to who sits alongside them. Osborne has confidence, experience and is not afraid to tell it how it is. Unfortunately for her, Mel B has all of that, and is younger. An insider said: “It is about getting the right chemistry on each panel and the best dynamic. Simon’s focus is getting the American X Factor right then he’ll sort out the British show. While Louis and Gary are pretty certain to return, it is still all to play for for the women.” Another source said: “Sharon is seriously back in contention, as is Mel — it could go down to the wire.” It would appear as though Sharon is on a charm offensive in a bid to get that role. She’s been seen out for dinner with Cowell recently, and we wonder who picked up the bill.

Mel B will team up with Heidi Klum for AGT; the model said of her recent appointment as judge: “I’m really excited to join the panel of AGT to see it all — from the ridiculous to the fantastic! I love the surprise element of the show and not knowing what we’ll see next and who will wow us. I’m also looking forward to spending time with my fellow judges – Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and Mel B!”
