Melissa McCarthy has no plans to take any time off.

The 'Spy' actress, who is gearing up to launch her own clothing line Melissa McCarthy Seven7 with Sunrise Brands in August and is set to star in a number of upcoming film projects, including the 'Ghostbusters' reboot, is determined to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible.

Asked how she copes with her whirlwind schedule, the 44-year-old star, who landed her first major role when she was 30, said: ''That's okay. I had about 15 years of downtime so I'm rested.''

But Melissa still tries to spend a lot of time with her two daughters, Georgette, five, and Vivian, eight, and husband Ben Falcone.

She told UsMagazine.com: ''Any second I'm off, I'm with my kids and my husband. We just appreciate the time we do get together because it's really something we value.''

Meanwhile, the 'Tammy' star insists she was involved in every step of creating her own apparel company.

She said: ''It's kind of the way I work. I think people thought maybe I wasn't serious, but I wanted to do this since I was in grade school. It's what I thought I was going to do for a living, so I take it very seriously and I truly love it.

''You make a decision, then it goes off, when it gets back you have 14 minutes to make another decision. It's a lot of waiting and rushing. And I really want to touch everything because I'm very tactile so at one point they were like, 'Well we can just approve it and send you pictures,' and I was like, 'No, I have to touch everything! I have to wear everything!' I want to wear everything so that I know at the end of the day like, 'This waistband is weird.' I don't want to put something out there and then realise like, 'That's really scratchy.' ''
