Dressed in scrubs, the beaming singer finds it hard to quell his emotions as he looks down upon his wife and mother of his first child whilst little Noah sleeps soundly.

Bublé captioned his family's firsty adorable shot with "Overjoyed and filled with gratitude at the arrival of our son Noah Buble. Born this morning, August 27th at 2.26 am in Vancouver, Canada."

Michael and Luisana have followed in the footsteps of other stars who choose to share photos of their newborn children via their own social media accounts to prevent paps competing for that first coveted shot of a celeb's baby.

Although Argentinian Luisana could not speak English when the pair first met in 2008 after Michael split from actress Emily Blunt, the pair dated from 2009 and were married by March 2011. The 26 year-old actress, model and singer is said to have inspired Michael hit single 'I Just Haven't Met You Yet' from his 2009 album Crazy Love. The 26 year-old starred in the song's video and accompanied her then-new boyfriend on his 2009 tour.

The couple have received an outpouring of love and welcome wishes from Twitter and Instagram as fans catch the first glimpse of the little one. Luisana thought she had gone into labour earlier this month, causing Michael to cancel television appearances at the beginning of August. Unusually, the baby wasn't on its way just yet despite Luisana spending seven hours in labour.

Bublé's eighth studio album, To Be Loved, currently sits at No.10 in the charts after having gone in straight at No.1 upon its release.
