Michael Jackson's death anniversary should have been a moment of appreciation and remembrance. Appreciation at the King of Pop's lengthy stay at the very top of the pile of the finest entertainers and remembrance of his finest albums, singles and live shows. However, on June 25, 2013, attention in the Jackson camp was fixed firmly on the lawsuit against AEG, with the controversy surrounding the entertainer's death continuing to swirl.

Earlier this month, Jackson's 15-year-old daughter Paris was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt that involved an overdose of pills as well as a kitchen knife to cut her own wrists.

It's been a rough time for the Jackson family following Michael's death, though it's always worth remembering the pop powerhouse and what could have been if he hadn't have taken a lethal dose of Propofol on June 25, 2009. Of course, at the time of his death Jackson was preparing a residency at London's O2 Arena. It should have been the biggest set of shows in history and Jackson's adoring fans had snapped up tickets in seconds.

The mystery of what could have been will remain, though according to the Daily Mirror, we have more of an insight into how the shows would have gone down thanks to a leaked set-list. The newspaper said it had seen the 16 song set-list for the planned O2 Arena shows, which kicked off with the classics Billie Jean and The Way You Make Me Feel. Don't Stop 'Til You get Enough, Girlfriend, Smooth Criminal and Man in the Mirror were reportedly due to form the backbone of the set, with Beat It and ballad You Are Not Alone closing out the evening - almost. The newspaper said Jackson had planned to finish with his most famous track, Thriller.

If the setlist is legitimate, it's worth pointing out the tracks that didn't make it. Black or White, Earth Song, Blood On The Dancefloor, You Rock My World and Bad were nowhere to be seen.

The Michael Jackson gigs were due to begin on July 8, 2009 and continue through August and September before restarting in January and February 2010.
